Previously known as the NTU CAC String Orchestra (NTUSO), this performing art CCA recently re-established in September 2019 as the NTU CAC Symphony Orchestra. With over 20 years of experience, we are excited to undergo the recent conversion. All this would not have been possible without the help and support of the NTU CAC Symphonic Band and Piano Ensemble.
The newly expanded NTUSO promotes excellence in classical music and provide a platform for students to learn and grow. We hope to establish ourselves as a vibrant tertiary orchestra in Singapore, inspiring many with our music.
Currently led by our passionate and committed conductor: Mr Chan Wei Shing, the orchestra will not only host its annual concert but also engage in school, corporate and wedding events. The endless opportunity to perform exposes the club members to a wider repertoire of music and provides greater exposure for all of them.
