Nocturne 2010: Strings Carnival
Mar 13th
Nocturne is an annual concert that is held solely by NTU Guitar Ensemble. This is the time where our members will showcase their talents by performing to the public through a formal concert. Conducted by renowned Singapore guitarist, Mr Thomas Liauw, the concert is brought out by around 30 players and covers various musical styles, such as Classical, Folk, Pop and more. A wide variety of Niibori Guitars will be used, ranging from high-pitched Soprano Guitars to the lowest Guitarrons, to provide many well-prepared programs for all to enjoy. Taking the theme “String Carnival”, this year’s Nocturne is prepared to continue the tradition as well as to take it to a greater height.
