Nanyang Arts Festival Closing Ceremony

As all good things must come to an end, this is our festival’s final curtain call but we’ve planned to go all out and exit spectacularly. Don’t miss our record-breaking achievement – Singapore’s largest sand art montage! Head down to IMM Garden Plaza on 27 March for an exciting journey through our festival!

Joint Dance Concert 2010

When Peter Meets Alice’ tells a tale of chance encounter, a journey of discovery, and a realisation of a lifetime.
Instead of swashbuckling pirates, crafty Queen of Hearts, or any mythical creatures you think you might find in your usual fairytales.
Expect sizzling hot Salsa moves, ground-breaking B-boy stunts, and heart-thumping Hip Hop capers.
Be warned. This is no child’s play.
Our modern twist to your favourite bedtime stories will have you dancin’ and sweatin’ in no time.

Nocturne 2010: Strings Carnival

Nocturne is an annual concert that is held solely by NTU Guitar Ensemble. This is the time where our members will showcase their talents by performing to the public through a formal concert. Conducted by renowned Singapore guitarist, Mr Thomas Liauw, the concert is brought out by around 30 players and covers various musical styles, such as Classical, Folk, Pop and more. A wide variety of Niibori Guitars will be used, ranging from high-pitched Soprano Guitars to the lowest Guitarrons, to provide many well-prepared programs for all to enjoy. Taking the theme “String Carnival”, this year’s Nocturne is prepared to continue the tradition as well as to take it to a greater height.

Grafitti Week

We all know vandalising is bad but now, for one week only, we are legitimising it! NAF 2010 brings you Grafitti Week where you can just pick up a can of paint and let your creativity guide you on our designated painting boards. Unleash your inner rebel and just doodle! Featured graffiti artist, Benson Lee is a wildstyle writer, who believes that the influences an artist receives from his culture and environment gives his artwork a certain unique flavour which nobody will be able to imitate. Catch him in action on 12 March in NTU

Colours For Life – Arts From The Heart

Arts From The Heart (AFTH) is a platform showcasing the performing arts while reaching out to the less fortunate. This year, AFTH has adopted Club Rainbow (Singapore) as our official beneficiary.
Exciting performances by CAC Member Clubs and guest performances will be showcased with a heritage walk to kickstart the event. As we express our charitable spirit and enthusiasm, we certainly hope that you too can come down, contribute to our aims and have a great time with us at “Colours For Life” with AFTH!

Peter Tan’s Music Clinic

With a music career spanning over 20 years, Peter Tan (陈彼得) is well-placed in the music industry. A renowned performing artiste once, he is now a prominent vocal coach and celebrity judge for Project Superstar and Campus Superstar, coaching the finalists in both competitions.
The founder of The Music Clinic, Peter Tan has had over 12 years of teaching experience, grooming regional stars Stephanie Sun(孙燕姿), Yong Er (泳儿), and starlet Kelly Poon (潘嘉丽)to name a few. Artistes such as Zoe Tay (郑惠玉), Fiona Xie (谢宛谕)and Felicia Chin (陈靓萱)have also trained under his wing. His talents, passion for music, and most importantly, the passion to nurture aspiring performers, has placed him and his company The Music Clinic in the foreground of the local music industry.
